We believe that too many children are behind in reading - but it's something we can change. As a chapter, we host multiple events throughout the school year to promote and advocate for our cause. This year, we have volunteered at Hubbard Heights Elementary School to help 16 children with their reading. CAR mentors have noted that their reading has improved drastically over the course of the semester. Money raised throughout the semester goes directly to the Pi Beta Phi Foundation where it can be allocated to several funds. With the help of our Foundation, we aim to directly impact literacy rates in our community.
CHAMPIONS ARE READERS
BOOK DRIVE 2021
This year our chapter collected and donated over 150 board books to Cook Children's Hospital. We partnered with a Fort Worth book shop, in order to support them after a difficult year during the pandemic. We are glad we could make even a small difference in our community and continue promoting literacy at a young age.
PIE A PI PHI
Our members are pied in the face by classmates and friends in the middle of campus. One of our all time favorite events each year!
DODGE THE ARROW
Our biggest philanthropy event in the fall, where members in other fraternities and sororities form teams to compete for champion!
