Pi Beta Phi

Texas Christian University TX DELTA

Letter From our vp membership

Hi everyone! My name is Taylor Tierney and I am beyond thrilled to serve as Pi Phi’s Vice President of Membership for 2018. Joining Pi Phi has impacted my whole college experience for the better and has changed my whole college experience more than I could have ever imagined. Without Pi Phi, I would be missing out on the sincerest friends a girl could ever have and endless amounts of memories filled with laugher. I am so excited to serve my chapter and make this process as best it can be for all the potential new members during recruitment. As you are reading this, you are probably interested in recruitment and I encourage you to join the amazing Greek Community TCU has put so much work into. Recruitment will allow you to adjust to college, the campus, and your new life at TCU by having a new support network of friends and tons of activities to do if you want to stay busy! Everyone here is so welcoming and excited to make deep connections with you that will continue to grow over your whole college experience.

Joining a sorority has given me my lifelong friends, helped me transition into college life with more independence, feel connected to people at TCU, shaped me into the woman I want to be, and has given me the confidence to go after anything I dream of all because to the girls in my chapter. I would not trade the opportunity to be a Pi Phi here at TCU for anything in the world and I will never be able to thank Pi Phi enough for the experience it has given me. While recruitment is a mixture of emotions, the end goal is very rewarding. You will be exhausted, stressed out, overwhelmed, and very emotional, but it is worth it to find a community of strong, loyal woman that will welcome you into their home with opening arms. These woman then will continue for the rest of your life to encourage you, inspire you, love you, guide you, and support you through anything. Once you join a sorority, you will then be able to see the lifelong friendships and become apart of something that will not only make you a better person but will influence you for the rest of your life.

At TCU, our Pi Phi chapter is so excited for recruitment and to meet each and every one of you. We are so thrilled to show you why our sisterhood in particular is so unique and how every girl in our chapter is so special. We all hope you find your home away from home and have the same experience that we do!! See you all in August!

Go Frogs & Go Pi Phi

Letter From our New Member Coordinator

Congrats seniors of 2018! You made it- now get ready for four more years:). I (and the rest of the Texas Delta chapter) am so excited to meet you all during recruitment. As the Pi Beta Phi New Member Coordinator, I work to help all girls that receive bids, known as New Members, acclimate to sorority, academic, and social life within the college experience. My best, cheesy recruitment advice is this: go wherever you feel comfortable and feel like you can be yourself, that is what joining Greek life is all about. Regardless of if that's Pi Phi, I cannot wait to get to know you all during recruitment and cannot emphasize how much the week of exhausting small talk is worth it.

Best of Luck and Happy Graduation,

-Sydney Fitzgibbon
